WASHINGTON (Reuters) - An elderly man who was accused in a 2009 shooting rampage that killed a security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., died on Wednesday, a prison spokeswoman said. James Von Brunn, 89, was wounded in the June 10, 2009, attack when guards returned fire and he had a history of poor health including chronic congestive heart failure and sepsis. James Von Brunn , the aging white supremacist who was acussed of going on a shooting spree at the U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington in 2008, has passed away in prison while being held for trial. Von Brunn, 89, was suffering from numerous health problems, including chronic congestive heart failure and sepsis. No word on what the official cause of Von Brunn's death has been released.
