Lynne Spears Talks About Jamie Lynn's Baby!

Lynne Spears spoke a bit to Life & Style magazine about daughter Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. Pretty interesting seeing as though (aside from the initial spilling the beans) Lynne has kept pretty tight lipped about the whole thing. Check out what she had to say below:

“I’m a bit disappointed that my youngest daughter got pregnant at such an early age. All I can do is turn to God for answers and just leave it in his hands. Jamie Lynn will be a wonderful mother,” she says. “She really has a way with children — she’s a natural nurturer. I just wish she had waited a bit.” As for the future, Lynne remains hopeful for her daughter, telling Life & Style, “I think 2008 will be a better year for all of us.”

I find it kind of sad how she is publicly voicing her disappointment with her daughter. I mean, obviously any parent would not be thrilled by this sort of thing but to just straight out tell the media that in the way she did just seems kind of sad. I'm not sticking up for teen pregnancy or pre-marital sex or anything, but I'm pretty darn sure that Jamie Lynn did not plan on getting pregnant. Lynne should save the "I'm so disappointed" talks for closed doors with her daughter and keep it at that.
