Alice Stuck in Wall on Way to Wonderland
People walk past by the half body statue at Tokyo's shopping area Shibuya on August 22, 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. Online Game Company NHN Japan display these statues under the concept of "The Half Of Life Is Game", to promote their mobile game site "Hange.jp". When people discover the statue and touch their arm with mobile phone, the application site will automatically open and a lucky winner will be rewarded 10,000 U.S. Dollars. (Photo by Junko Kimura/Getty Images AsiaPac)Japanese online game company NHN has set up several of these half-person statues to promote its new Web site where people can download games to their cell phones.
I don't know if the point was to creep people out, then get them to visit the Web site, but these people seem to be intrigued. I would be too. It isn't everyday you see a Japanese Lolita stuck in a wall.
