Posted in Fashion Blog » Clothing » Dresses Over the past few days we've touted that a fair share of 2010 fashion trends will see a major redefinition of many fashion terms. We've had to redefine hot pants as the hem line has become a negative measurement, and we've also had to redefine the thigh-high dress split . Reading that fashion trend report you'll see that thigh-high is seemingly too tame for today's tastes and has instead come to mean 'above the thigh'. Case in point: singer Rihanna's dress at the Glamour Awards dinner. Entire Article: Read it by clicking Rihanna hip split: Jasmine ... Read Full Story

Finally No Black/Best Dressed/Best Couple Award In my Best Of 2008 Awards, I was praying for colour in 2009 for Angelina Jolie. Either god answered my prays, or Angelina reads my blog, because here we have Ange looking out-friggin-standing wearing a ice white Max Azria Spring 2009 one-sleeved gown. She wore her gown with her hair pulled back, pearl earrings and a Herve Leger Spring 2009 clutch. She is wearing no make-up would you believe. Beauty at its most simplistic. When Rihanna isn't trying too hard, she can look so beautiful like this. The singer recently went home to Barbados, to celebrate her grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. She stood very proudly with them wearing a Jasmine di Milo silk draped pink dress , with matching rose Stella McCartney mesh sandals . This is the softest, most feminine, and delicate look we have seen from Rihanna in a long-time. I even like her hair here, as it's styled into retro marcel waves. The stunning dress has a ruffled draping detail cascading down the dress, with a matte detailed belt at empire waist. You can purchase ... Read Full Story

Natalie Imbruglia wore an olive green Jasmine Di Milo Spring 2009 asymmetrical dress to the Grand Opening of Atlantis in Dubai back in November, with black Jimmy Choo satin diamante platform sandals . At this point she was still sporting her newly blonde do, which I could never embrace. On the other hand Talulah Riley's newly blonde do, was a change for the better. She debut her new locks on the red carpet, for the London Premiere of The Boat That Rocked, back in March, wearing the navy runway version of this dress. I much prefer the navy colour, plus Natalie's hair makes this ... Read Full Story

The Terence Gross film that accompanied Jasmine Al Fayed’s presentation in the round depicted the dance of death between the matador and the bull. The fact that it was acted out by two vampish women added a sexual subtext that the clothes themselves assiduously courted, from the strapless sheath in burgundy leather to a crystal-studded bikini in a black and red Deco pattern to a floor-length tank dress in transparent paillettes. Not to mention the gold Lurex fingers that tweaked the nipples on a white tee. The pervasive mood of Gross’ film loaned a distinctly fatale quality to Al Fayed’s femme The rest is ... Read Full Story
