Jason David Frank: From Power Ranger to MMA Fighter

Sure, Jason David Frank may be best recognized as the guy who played Tommy on the long-running kids show Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, but he's hoping you'll know him as somthing else soon. Namely, as a seriously hardcore MMA fighter.

He's been training with UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard, and now he's signed with Suckerpunch Entertainment. If all goes according to plan, he should be making his pro debut within the near future.

Still, Frank is realistic about the challenges he'll face. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, he acknowledges that his former television fame may work against him, saying, "I know I have a target on my back. Everyone is going to want to beat up the Green Ranger."
