According to WFAN , Mets reliever Jason Isringhausen likes playing in New York, there’s no doubt about that. Just don’t make it sound like he’s begging general manager Sandy Alderson to stay.
“To be able to get close, or maybe even make the playoffs, coming from a team that wasn’t supposed to do anything, that’s fun,” Isringhausen told the New York Daily News on Sunday. “If there is a chance that we can do that, I want to be a part of it.”
