Talks next month between Iran and six world powers on Tehran's nuclear programme will probably be held in Turkey, European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana said on Tuesday. "This morning we reached an agreement with the Iranians to hold a meeting on October 1," Solana's spokeswoman said. The location of the meeting has not been fixed. EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said on Wednesday he favoured unity for Sudan, where a referendum to decide the south's independence will take place in 2011.
