Jay-Z (real name Shawn Corey Carter, born December 4, 1969) is an American rapper and current president and CEO of Def Jam and Roc-A-Fella Records. he co-owns The 40/40 Club, and is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets NBA team. He has been one of the most successful American rappers of the past decade. In 2006, an MTV list named him the "Greatest MC Of All Time." He married singer Beyonce Knowles in 2008. Rapper Jay-Z has said he wishes he had brought out a range of umbrellas when Rihanna’s track Umbrella was a hit.
The 39-year-old has had huge success with his line Rocawear over the years but said he made a mistake by not bringing out the umbrella range.
He said: “We really should have had some Rihanna Rocawear umbrellas when that song became a hit.”
He added: “We could have made a load of money on those. I’m still kicking myself.”
