Jay-Z (real name Shawn Corey Carter, born December 4, 1969) is an American rapper and current president and CEO of Def Jam and Roc-A-Fella Records. he co-owns The 40/40 Club, and is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets NBA team. He has been one of the most successful American rappers of the past decade. In 2006, an MTV list named him the "Greatest MC Of All Time." He married singer Beyonce Knowles in 2008. Jay-Z's Nightclub Sued Over Bouncer Beating

Getty Images Last month, Bryant Norwood was brutally beaten by bouncers outside of Jay-Z 's Atlantic City nightclub, and lucky for him, security cameras caught the whole thing on tape. According to TMZ , Norwood is suing the 40/40 club for a "substantial amount of money."
