Per Tom Kowalski, LT Jeff Backus won’t be ready to go for the start of training camp, but he should be sufficiently recovered to resume practice a week or two into camp.  This is good news for the Lions, especially Matthew Stafford.Read Full Story

If the team does make that move, it could mean that the team will make a run at a tackle with the first overall pick in the draft on April 25th.
