Jeff Foxworthy, he of Blue Collar Comedy fame, will voice the animated character of Babe, a blue ox in a contemporary take on the story of Paul Bunyan, produced by MGM. According to the Hollywood Reporter Bunyan and his sidekick Babe “embark on a mission to save a town from a rapacious real estate developer. John Goodman is set to voice Bunyan, and Kelsey Grammer is the developer.” For those of you unfamiliar with Bunyan, he’s a mythological, giant lumberjack, who, according to folklore, along with Babe the Blue Ox, created the Grand Canyon by dragging his axe across the land.
