Gary Busselman was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. His story is particularly tragic and illustrates the damage that can be inflicted on the unsuspecting by policies insisted upon by misguided men. Gary encouraged his wife to reject the organ transplant that doctors said was required to save her life. Delores L. Busselman died on January 12, 1971. She was 26 years of age. Gary, at least, had the hope that the New System was around ...

Baptism in Jesus’ Name. The scriptural evidence to support baptism in Jesus’ name is overwhelming. Let us look at the biblical evidence that supports baptism in Jesus’ Name. JESUS is the divinely revealed redemptive name of God, equivalent to Yahweh in the Old Testament. Jesus literally means: ‘Yahweh is Salvation’, or Jehovah Saviour. In the Old Testament God gave Israel a name prior to delivering them from Egyptian bondage. The name revealed by God was: ‘I AM THAT I AM’ or ‘Yahweh’ (Jehovah). This is known as the redemptive name of God in the Old Testament (Ex. 3:14). In similar fashion when it came to the spiritual redemption ...
