The Jehovah Witness Movement was begun by a Charles Taze Russell. Born in 1852,  Russell founded the Zion's Watch Tower in 1879 and later incorporated the group under the name "Zion's Watch Tower Tract Society" in 1884.  Russell born on February 16, 1852.  He was raised a Presbyterian, but later joined the Congregational Church because of its "more liberal views." Jehovah's Witnesses has put its 100-year-old building at 12th and Delaware streets up for sale for $2.9 million. The 34,000-square-foot building includes a 1,200-seat auditorium and geothermal heating and cooling. It could be converted for nonreligious uses, said listing broker Summit Realty Group. Jehovah's Witnesses bought the limestone-faced building in 1978 but now needs a larger place to worship.

I applaud your blog my dear! Been there too,I was falsely disfellowshipped for whistle-blowing on Watchtower corruption on Jan 5 1992 so this month is my 20th anniversary of freedom from the Jehovah's Witnesses cult. Same here, no contact with my family still in the religion. Many individuals are leaving Jehovah’s Witnesses! I want to encourage people that there is a good life beyond JWs Bravo to each one, to achieve their free minds...
