Jennifer Aniston Will Not Host Her Own TV Talk Show

We're betting Jennifer Aniston would've made a great TV talk show host. Given the number of red carpet romances she's had, and the number of rumors she's combatted about them, the star's got the right amount of sympathy and love of drama to really make a go of it. But, her rep told Us magazine that rumors of her return to TV as part of Oprah's new network are "absolutely false."

The (untrue) story surfaced on London's Daily Express newspaper, then got picked up by Ok! and The New York Post, sending the "news" of Jennifer's new gig all around. Her publicist squashed the rumor fast, although it had sounded pretty legit.

The papers had said she was planning to do it because her heart was in the right place -- money wasn't an issue. And they claimed Chelsea Handler was a part of the decision to give her a slot on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

The actress even said back in 2007 that she wished she could be Oprah for the day, so we hoped she was actually going to take a stab at it. No such luck.
