Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez is in Japan right now to promote a line of "baby-friendly" handbags for Japanese accessories brand Samantha Thavasa. She arrived at the Narita International AIrport Friday dressed to the nines - and already doing her job, by the looks of it.

Instead of sporting any of the more demure Samantha Thavasa designs, the artist formerly known as J-Lo was pap-ready with a bag covered in the brand label.

As of yet there's no word on whether the bags Jennifer Lopez is promoting will be sold in the United States. It must have cost Samantha Thavasa a pretty penny for a Lopez sponsorship; she and husband Marc Anthony recently filed a $5 million lawsuit against a baby stroller company for unauthorized promotional use of their image.
