Last season fantasy owners received bad info, when they found out the Brownie’s played below their lofty expectations. Some how Braylon Edwards could not catch a pass and Derek Anderson lost his magic touch. While Jamal Lewis still ran hard, the chemistry of the offense held him back from being effective. In the off-season the Browns fired Head Coach Romeo Crennel and replaced him with Eric Mangini. With this move the organization is hoping the Browns can get back on the right track, after last years disappointing campaign. From a fantasy point of view, I like Magini because this guy understands you need a ... Read Full Story

With six games remaining in a season apparently over before it began, questions over leadership, and if there needs to be a change, naturally arise.   The Cleveland Browns lost a heartbreaker to the Detroit Lions this past Sunday in the battle of 1-8 teams, 38-37.   While a breakdown of the game shows the defense lived up to its last place ranking, head coach Eric Mangini thought that maybe the Lions cheated.   In comments to the press after...

Written by Daniel Wolf   Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini has been seen in a negative light for much of the 2009 NFL regular season, and for good reasons, but despite his positively-portrayed nature, his is still very shady in the things he does regarding football matters. So Mangini has tried to bring a positive light onto himself the last several weeks with exclusive interviews with SI.com and this past weekend on The NFL Today...

Although the Cleveland Browns aren't the only 1-9 team right now, they are the worst team in the league. They lost to the only team in NFL history to go winless in a 16—game season this past Sunday. Yes—they lost to the Detroit Lions. From top to bottom this organization is horrible. The ownership is cheap, the general manager was crap, and now their "lack there of" head coach has shown not to be as good as thought. With their best player...

(Photo: Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions gets up after being injured against the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field on Sunday. Joe Robbins/Getty Images) Browns coach Eric Mangini is questioning whether the Detroit Lions faked injuries to slow down Cleveland’s no-huddle offense.Mangini, who bemoaned the final, chaotic seconds of Cleveland’s 38-37 loss Sunday, noted the Lions had several players leave the field injured, only to return. Mangini...

Last week, I told you to use Ryan Moats as a smokescreen while pursuing other running backs on the waiver wire. Until a touchdown reception off a play-action fake, it was obvious that Steve Slaton was the more effective runner throughout the day.  This week I am advocating for Jamal Lewis. The Cleveland Browns stink, and the fact that every NFL fan is forced to watch them Monday night is not something to which I am looking forward. However...
