Laura Dern has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' Little Fockers , the third film in the popular "Meet the Parents" franchise.
Dern will play the headmistress of the elementary school that the Fockers' kids attend.
The Paul Weitz-directed movie stars Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Owen Wilson and Jessica Alba.
John Hamburg rewrote the original script by Larry Stuckey.
