Jessica Leigh Harp, (born on 3 February 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri, United States) is an American singer-songwriter. She grew up with her parents and her sister with a love for music, singing for the first time when she was 3, writing lyrics when she was 8 and at 13 picking up her guitar. Jessica Harp, formerly one half of my favorite country music duo The Wreckers, has officially been released from Warner Brothers as a recording artist. After the duo announced their split in 2007, both Jessica and Michelle Branch went to work on solo albums for the label. She married the fiddle player from the Wreckers in 2008. I was talking to some friends the other day about how much we missed The Wreckers.  “Leave the Pieces” and “My, Oh My” among other songs from their Stand Still Look Pretty album could have served as an anthem for women everywhere.  The Wreckers were on their way to the top, even winning a Grammy in 2006.
