Grey Gardens is making a strong showing at this year's Emmys as both Jessica Lange and Ken Howard have won awards for their performances. Fortunately for Jessica Lange, she and co-star Drew Barrymore did not split the academy vote for best actress to the point that neither won.

Lange made a gracious acceptance speech along with a crack about not seeing as many parts coming her way these days. She was nominated along with Chandra Wilson for Accidental Friendship, Shirley MacLaine for Coco Chanel, Sigourney Weaver for Prayers for Bobby, and of course Drew Barrymore for Grey Gardens.

Besides this Emmy win, Lange has won 2 Oscars, and been nominated for 6. This was her third Emmy nomination and her first win.
