Jessica Simpson Blasts 'Melrose Place' After Ashlee's Axed From the Show

Just weeks ago when Ashlee was a castmember Jessica tweeted, "Everyone watch my sis on melrose place tonight," but since Ashlee's been fired, Jessica's attitude has taken a turn for the negative.

According to PopEater, on Sunday she wrote on her Twitter account: "CW catching up on MP. who writes this crap? i have had bad scripts to work with, but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press"

Ouch. It was announced a couple of weeks ago that Ashlee would be leaving the show after the first season's murder mystery was solved and the series evolved into something a little bit more upbeat. But an insider told Us Weekly that the CW "hired her [Ashlee] because they needed a good name to help create buzz. But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible."
