Jessica Simpson Wants a Smart, Spiritual, Artistic Man

Jessica Simpson might say some pretty air-headed things (remember when she declined wings because she "doesn't eat buffalo"?), but she's decided one smart thing: she wants a smart dude. She told Extra (via Us magazine): "I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men ... people that will always keep me intrigued."

Well, that's not all. Jess says she has a few other preferred traits in a mate, too. "I definitely love a spiritual man -- somebody that is going to always inspire me," said the singer. "And, you know, I love artistic men -- somebody that really understands their art."

So maybe these are why things failed with Nick Lachey and Tony Romo?

But, for now, it sounds like she's working on finding her better self, not a decent date. She's working on a VH1 reality series called The Price of Beauty. She said: "I couldn't have had this journey at a better time in my life -- to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence, and to seek out the power of a woman."
