OK, this hasn’t been the kind of football season a lot of folks anticipated for Ole Miss quarterback Jevan Snead in August.

Last week Ole Miss vs. Arkansas was an upset for Arkansas as the Rebels won 30-17 improving their record to 2-2 in the SEC and 5-2 overall. Jevan Snead had a career best performance along with Dexter McCluster. In 2009, Jevan Snead's stats stand here: 107 completions, 194 attempts, 1440 yards, 52.6% completion, 14 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. OXFORD, Miss. --With the Rebels' season leaning back over to the side of successful, quarterback Jevan Snead found the perfect time to play his best game of the year. The Ole Miss junior completed 14-of-21 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown. The efficiency was superb, and Snead came through when necessary toward the end of the game. Ole Miss held on for a dramatic, 25-23, win over LSU, and Snead was commended for his part in the outcome.  

Ole Miss will play Tennessee for the first time since the 2005 season when the two teams meet at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Ole Miss will need great performances from Jevan Snead and Dexter McCluster, but a key to the game will be the play of the defense. Go inside for all the match-ups.

Alex Henderson's 3-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter Saturday night pulled Northern Arizona into a 14-14 tie with Ole Miss. Henderson's scoring run, his second of the night, apparently served as the Rebels' wake-up call. Jevan Snead showed up at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday with a new haircut, sporting a bit of a modified Mohawk. His performance, however, was anything but new. Offense MISSISSIPPI: Texas transfer Jevan Snead runs the show for the Rebels at quarterback and even though he isn't having as good of a season as was predicted for him, he's still very dangerous. Snead has a strong and accurate arm, but has had a knack for making bad decisions this year. As a result, he's thrown 13 interceptions and the Rebels are under .500 in the SEC.
