Evidently two or three people are killed each day by others in LA County, but most of those stories go untold. Until now. Jill Leovy, a crime reporter for the Los Angeles Times has made LA homicide a little more personal. In conjunction with the LA Times, Leovy has created The Homicide Report, a blog which attempts to record every homicide in Los Angeles County. Started in January 2007, the blog recorded 845 names by year's end. On average, three people a day are killed in LA County, most of them die anonymously.
