Florida nearly upset the highly-favored BYU team before Fredette and his team finally dropped the Gators 99-92 in double overtime.

Fredette is a 6-foot, 2-inch guard who put up an impressive 37 points in the double-overtime game. He's a promising Junior with an impressive jump shot that helped him sink Florida with a pair of big three-point plays. Up next for Fredette is an impressive Kansas State Wildcats team with the size and speed to make it difficult for Fredette to get open shots.
Kansas State opened the tournament with a 20-point blowout of North Texas. The team's explosive ability to score will challenge BYU's defense, promising a must-see second round game between the two tough teams.
