Jodi Albert is an English actress, glamour model and singer. She is probably best known for playing Debbie Dean in the British soap opera Hollyoaks, on Channel 4 on British TV.
Ya know what really grinds my gears....Jodi Picoult Books! I realize a lot of chicks dig this book, but man they stink. I'm a chick and I think her writing is ornate and over zealous for no reason. Did you read "19 Minutes?" That book took 700 pages to say absolutely nothing about society. It had no point. I get where she wants to go but she fails at getting there. I don't know if she doesn't fully commit to her plot or what, and the characters all stink too. I hate all of her characters... Read Full Story

Jodi Picoult is a prolific writer who does a great deal of research on the often-controversial subjects she deals with in her novels. First introduced to me with The Pact: A Love Story , Jodi quickly became my favorite author and has not let me down, publishing a new book every year. All of her books are written with unbelievable depth and feature characters who are very well developed and who readers can easily relate to or identify with. My personal favorite from her long list of titles... Read Full Story
Posted on Wednesday~March 18, 2009 I met Jodi Picoult . Yup, here's proof, right here in this picture. That's me on your left. Jodi Picoult is right there in the middle. And The Amazing Auntie Kay is on your right. (My Aunt, not Jodi's.) I'd like to tell you that I had a very eloquent exchange with Jodi P., like the one I had planned. In that daydream, the one I had while I was standing in line, I said, "You rock!" And she responded excitedly with, " Why, thank you!!! " (See? Totally... Read Full Story
Jodi Picoult: Award Winning Author Famous for exploring the darker side of life, Jodi Picoult – second only to JK Rowling in the bestseller list – has turned the spotlight on the children for whom just a sneeze or a cuddle could crush their fragile bones. Things break all the time. "You can break a record, a horse, a dollar. You can break the ice. There are coffee breaks and lunch breaks and even prison breaks. Day breaks, waves break, voices break. Chains can be broken. So can silence and... Read Full Story
Handle with Care: A Novel Jodi Picoult has been steadily releasing books, nearly annually, since 1992. Picoult has said that, for her, the creation of a novel is much like the development of a baby in that it takes nine months. For the many authors who release books quickly, it can be said that oftentimes the hastiness of finishing the novel detracts from the quality of the work. However, Picoult's 16th novel, Handle with Care is no less poignant than her others. Although many of her... Read Full Story
Jodi Picoult’s fans will gladly received novel, which explores family dynamics and the intricacies of motherhood, and concludes, as did The Pact, with tense courtroom drama. Songs of a Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult is a novel about family, loss, misunderstanding and reconciliation.
My book review rating : 3 stars - just not as compelling as her later novels
I have had my eye on Picoult’s Songs of a Humpback Whale for a long time; despite it being her first published novel it was only released in the UK in November 2008. If you’ve read any of my other Picoult reviews here at Blue Archipelago you will know that I am a huge fan of her work, especially of... Read Full Story
