She's the youngest winner of American Idol at 17. But she is one of the most down to earth teenagers who doesn't seem to mind her instant stardom.

NFL player Phillippi Sparks, who in the midst of his career was constantly in front of the camera with interviews and pictures. Her father recalls that as a small child, Jordin very intently would watch him sign autographs and take note of his demeanor while on camera. Father Sparks also felt weird because he was now watching his daughter do the same thing.
There is a serious side to Jordin - serious issues run through her mind such as the issue of abortion. She is a strong advocated to anti-abortion - performing at Arizona's Right to Life Conference in 2005.
Jordin Sparks seems to be right where she wants to be. She has modeled Seventeen magazine, sung her way into thousands of sport fans hearts by performing the national anthem at Arizona pro sporting venues; she has even performed on stage in such musicals as The Wiz.
Even after all of her success you will still find the sweet, happy young lady that all of her friends and family knows and loves. When asked what some of the things she would splurge on she replied, "a really nice system for [my] car, [and] I would love to give my brother a couple of bucks and let him buy some shoes."
