Joe Biden is one of the most tenured members of congress. After winning his senate seat from Nixon Republican J. Caleb Boggs in 1972, Biden has spent more than half his life in Washington.

Only not so much in Washington as you might expect. Biden began taking the commuter train from the Wilmington suburbs into Washington, D.C., when he took office and has been using the train ever since. It underscores his desire to solve the energy crisis.
