(Getty Images) While visiting the Ukraine Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden again proved his capacity to embarrass America by ignoring the many virtues of Ukrainian life and honing right in on the ladies. "I cannot believe that a Frenchman visiting Kiev went back home and told his colleagues he discovered something and didn't say he discovered the most beautiful women in the world. That's my observation," he told Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko through a translator. "It's certain you have so many beautiful women. The problem is that nobody knows what Joe is talking about. The wife of Vice President-elect Joe Biden let it slip that her husband had a pick of two jobs in the Obama administration. Jill Biden said President-elect Barack Obama gave Biden the choice of being secretary of state or vice president. Her comment came when the Bidens made a surprise appearance on Oprah Winfrey's show, recorded at the Kennedy Center. The vice president-elect tried to hush his wife as soon as the words came out of her mouth, with a loud "shhh!" Jill Biden said the job of vice president was better for the family, because as secretary of state he would travel too ... Read Full Story

The news of Obama's Veep pick is finally over as he announced to the world several hours ago that the fortunate individual is Seasoned Delaware U.S. Senator Joe Biden (D). Thank Goodness! Now I know the media recently reported on Biden's Son ( a Captain in the U.S. Army ), receiving orders to be deployed to Iraq , but that's another story. For the moment let's just focus on why Obama chose Biden over the other possible, just as qualified candidates. The previous list of other suspected Obama VP Nominees were: Senator Joe Biden Jr. (Del.) Congressman Chet Edwards (TX) Gov. Tim Kaine (VA) ... Read Full Story

Mark Knoller of CBS News informs us that Vice President Joe Biden -- you know, the guy who was put in charge of the stimulus because "no one messes with him" -- just told the attendees at the White House jobs summit that "the economy is in a depression."
