There's a reason why Joe Jonas is dominating Twitter's trending topics these days: he's got a major case of the sads, and his fans are rallying their support.

Jonas and his girlfriend of several months, actress Camilla Belle, have parted ways. Camilla's rep told E! News, "Yes, it's true, they have broken up. There is no third party involved, and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends."

It seems that Camilla's camp is already trying to dispel rumors that she's been seeing tennis pro (and fan of fake tanner) Fernando Verdasco, with whom she was spotted laughing over lunch several months ago.

Meanwhile, Jonas is taking it rough. JoBro fans in Detroit and Boston noted some of Joe's interesting onstage antics to gossip maven Perez Hilton.

Fans in Detroit say the singer broke into tears during his songs "Gotta Find You" and "Turn Right," and had switched some lyrics to "Much Better," the song he reportedly wrote for Camilla. In Boston, Joe removed a necklace Camilla had given him - a move his fans believed was symbolic of their relationship's deterioration.

It's a sad day when a perpetually-unconfirmed relationship gets the official kick in the pants by a public rep, huh?
