This is a question I have had on my mind after reading a few “what if” articles by Chris Mueller(What If#1 )(What If#2 ) and viewing the latest Monday night showdown. The reason I have selected these two performers is mainly for their statuses in their respective companies. At the lPPV event TLC, we all saw John Cena lose his belt to the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Then Cena came out on RAW the following night, apologizing for his loss. He promised never to lose again until he wins the title back. Now does that mean he will lose after he wins his belt back? I know that sounds like a lame and stupid question, but it's feasible that it could mean just that. The following week, John won his match, keeping his promise...  

WWE Monday Night Raw with the return of Bret Hitman Hart on the USA Network did well in the Nielsen ratings, and TNA iMPACT with the TNA debut of Hulk Hogan and others on SpikeTV set its personal best mark, but WWE star John Cena technically was the big winner.

Let me just admit right now I'm not a John Cena fan, but that's not why I have a problem with him wearing the WWE Title. Cena holding the title makes perfect sense for the company, he's a big dude and he's popular with the kids (who buy most of the WWE merchandise). My problem is that because there is no Brock Lesnar type heel anymore, I have no sense that Cena will lose the title ever. They're pushing Shammus now, but he's too new and too...

In my preview for Sunday night’s TLC pay-per-view, I wrote that it “would be insane” for WWE to book Sheamus to win the WWE title from John Cena. I guess the whole word has gone mad – well, at least the WWE Universe has – because Sheamus is your new WWE champion. I can’t believe I actually typed that last sentence.

Two new champions - Sheamus and Drew McIntyre - and the IWC is still complaining. for months, they have been begging the WWE to put titles on someone other than John Cena, Triple H, or Randy Orton. They have been pleading for matches that involved someone other than their "top" stars.
