Former cameraman Patrick McDermott disappeared in 2005 and was believed to have drowned at sea. But a private investigator hired by “Dateline NBC” may have proof that he, in fact, faked his own death. Investigator Philip Klein suspects that McDermott left to escape debts and give his son access to a $100,000 life insurance policy.
