John Hope Franklin -- Famed historian dies at 94

John Hope Franklin, famous American historian who chronicled the history of the African Americans in the South, died on March 25, 2009 of congestive heart failure at the age of 94. Franklin was part of the team of scholars who assisted Thurgood Marshall in winning the court case of Brown v.
