NO WONDER Johnny Depp is grinning in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow - he's allegedly been offered $59million (??35million) to return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise for a fourth movie in 2011.
It's the highest upfront payment to any actor in film history, beating the $50million (??29million) handed to Tom Hanks for the Da Vinci Code follow-up Angels and Demons.
Now we can see why Depp was able to leave a $1,500 tip in a restaurant on at least one occasion.
