Jon Gosselin to Countersue TLC for $5 Million

RadarOnline reports that the reality dad is planning to countersue the network for $5 million, after they sued him for breach of contract.

In their lawsuit, TLC claims Jon violated the terms of his contract repeatedly by appearing talk shows like The Insider, which was expressly forbidden by his agreement because it provided competition against his home network. Radar can't say for sure what Gosselin plans to say in his defense (he doesn't even have representation yet in Maryland, where he'll have to testify on December 14). But their best guess is that Jon will take a position claiming his contract's terms were too rigid and prevented him from earning a living.

The firm representing TLC is Washington DC's Williams & Connolly, which Radar notes is famous for its "scorched earth" operations -- meaning Gosselin probably won't have any secrets left when this is all said and done.

Also testifying next month? Jon's gals Hailey Glassman and Kate Major, and his pal Michael Lohan.
