Brit Boy Band JLS Talks Gay Rumors and (Se)X Factor to "Gay Times"

British boyband of the moment JLS covers the new October fashion issue of Gay Times. In their first ever gay interview, the X Factor runners up—who hit number one with their debut single "Beat Again"—talk openly about the constant gay rumors that follow the group. Oh and they're also wearing clothes clothes unlike many their recent photoshoots ...

From left to right the lads are: JB Gill, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold and Oritsé Williams. Marvin, one of the hunks of the band, says The rumors don't bother him. "We don’t care. We've got loads of gay friends anyway. All of mine fancy JB!"

JB, the "fit" rugby player and another of the band's sex symbols, tells GT the lads enjoy being gay crush objects: "We were about to go on stage and this gay guy stopped me and goes ‘Oh my god, you are SO sexy’, and I thought ‘yeah…I’m alright!'"

Aston has been the subject of most of the rumors and says "They say it like it's an insult!" He boasts having the most gay fans and adds, "Whenever we do meet and greets with gay fans, I'm the one they sling over their shoulders and run off with."

Kudos to JLS for addressing the gay rumors—which they didn’t actually deny—by getting the cover of one of Britian's leading gay glossies. You'd never see black male singers on this side of the pond do that.
