The National Football League suspended Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Joselio Hanson for four games on Wednesday for violating anti-doping rules. Hanson's lawyer, David Cornwell, said in a statement that Hanson tested positive for a diuretic after last year's National Conference championship game against Arizona. "The urine specimen that Joselio provided after the game tested positive for a diuretic," Cornwell said. "Joselio did not use steroids or any other substance that would enhance his performance." PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- The NFL has suspended Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Joselio Hanson four weeks for a banned substance. Sports attorney David Cornwell told the Philadelphia Daily News Wednesday that Hanson is accused of taking a diuretic before last season's NFC Championship Game, a 32-25 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Cornwell said Hanson felt after eating Chinese food before the contest and later tested positive after taking a pill that turned out to be a diuretic.
