AMERICAN IDOL GETS GREEDY WITH JOSIAH LEMING

Remember the adorable Josiah Leming who was probably the most heavily featured early AMERICAN IDOL contestant to ultimately be left out of the Top 24?  He of the heartbreaking backstory of living in his car after dropping out of high school to pursue his musical dream?  Well, after getting dissed by the AI machine, the 19-year-old was quickly snatched up by Warner Brothers, making him the first idol contestant outside of the Top 24 to get a record deal, as well as being only one of the four contestants this season to get a deal.  However, 19 Entertainment, the force behind IDOL, is now threatening to block the release of Josiah's debut album under the claim that it would violate the terms of an agreement Josiah signed as an AI contestant.  

We personally think this is just ridiculous.  Just how greedy can the AMERICAN IDOL machine get?  Sure their ratings are slipping, which means they are probably earning less ad revenue than back in their earlier heydeys, but they were the ones who made the choice to send Josiah home so soon, and they should just let him go on with his career in peace.  Here's wishing him the best of luck, and hoping that his album with Warner Brothers will be released in January as planned.
