Singer Joss Stone has said the best way for fans to listen to her new album is to smoke a spliff at the same time.

The 22-year-old star was asked on the E! entertainment channel's Daily Ten show about the best way to get into her album.

She said: "I would say run a bath, roll a spliff, and have a listen.

"That's what I would. I do that with every one of my favourite albums. That's how I listen to it first."

Joss had trouble releasing her fourth album after disputes with her record label EMI but the album will now be released on November 2.
