This is the next big thing in Caity's life! (Maybe) Reuben and I have decided (and we do that, we make all these life decisions for everyone we know and for whatever reason we think it's OK.) that Caity should focus on her NEXT four years. We're thinking she could be the next American to win the Gold in Air pistol...here's how we got there: A couple years ago we (family) took a trip to Seattle and visited the Ft. Lewis simulators for fun. I chose to sit it out, I wasn't into shooting... Read Full Story
The Brat Must Go! Cute as she is, she really does have to leave my house. Actually I don't have a house anymore. I gave it up a little over a year ago because I travel so much with Faith. There was a time this past spring that I practically lived in the Dallas airport. I had a special bunk in the Admiral's Club. I thought giving up the house was the best thing for me since both my daughters had their own place. Then Caity lost her place and moved in with her sister. Then Laura moved away... Read Full Story
It's so easy to see that the boy is home! (Laura was working) Reuben and Caity have played hard for many years. He used to say he never really missed having a brother because Caity was mean enough for 4 of them. She is too. I'm going to call him Blitz, Caity is going to call him Rupert. Either way - he's the kissing bandit everyone loves. It wouldn't be fair or right to say that I went out and bought Caity a new puppy to replace her dog Cookie who was murdered last month. You can't replace a soul, you can't replace love. But, I think it would be quite fair to say that I went out and bought Caity a little puppy to ease her pain, to mend her heart, and to help her heal inside and out - - just what the mommy... Stringfellows have been in the U.S. Army, the Marines, the Navy, and the Air Force for years and years, wars and wars. I'm not sure if they've been in the Coast Guard, but I know they've been just about everywhere and on both sides of the big pond for that matter. The name Stringfellow can be traced back many centuries actually, even as far back as the 14th century and was called Strongfellow as well as Stringfellow. The main branch of our name has been categorized, challenged and... Read Full Story
