"Brothers at War" - Go see it.

This very very important indie film was written and directed by Jake Rademacher, the man you see standing to the left in both of these pictures. Jake is the brother to the others you see - his younger brothers Major Isaac Rademacher and SSGT Joseph Rademacher, both still serving U.S. Army. (Yea! Go Army! Oh, OK, that was a little personal wasn't it? I mean, my own Baby Boy Spc. Reuben Stringfellow serves U.S. Army and my dog Faith of course, is an honorary E5 Sgt.) "Brothers at War" was the... "FAITH" the Definitive Book

Some dogs spend all their waking hours under the bed and just hope they don't get bothered by puppies - - Faith does that too, when she's not working. The thing about Faith is that she's so wonderful, so amazing, so incredible that allowing her to be under the bed all day seems out of character to some of those that know her as the super-hero, mega-heart-healing miracle that she is. The truth is, as you'll soon be able to read about in our new definitive book (working title) "FAITH"...that... Read Full Story

"Think Lt. Dan Meets Lassie"

WHAT? That is what I was told this morning from a radio talk show host in NYC when I was called at 5:05 a.m. to do a recorded interview. I wasn't expecting the call so I wasn't exactly awake. Normally when I wake up at that hour it's my son calling from Iraq to tell me he's just won the bid on some "sweet" deal on Ebay! He can't wait to tell someone and he doesn't really care what time it is - - he just calls. I don't mind. This time it was a radio announcer, and to be 100% honest with you... Read Full Story

$500K Really? 46 Pages? 9 year old author? (I smell fish)

I wasn't going to weigh in on this from the beginning last month when it was announced that a 9-year old boy wrote a 46-page booklet called "How to Talk to Girls" for his school fund-raiser. He supposedly wrote it himself, he "published" and sold it of course for $3 to get money for the school. A cute idea. Even then the rumor mills were grinding and claiming that the boy really didn't input that much to the booklet, but that having him as a young author would certainly be a great angle. I... 'ello Aloe!

You know, for being the brilliant and often outlandishly intelligent person that I am - I can really be a dummie from time to time. I have to stop making fun of my Aries son for running straight into things, or for opening his mouth without thinking. I'm forever telling him how he needs to read the instructions, work with someone who has the experience he's trying to gain before jumping head-straight into a project...good advice right - so why am I the one who just drank over 12 ounces of... 100 POUND Puppy! King Leonidas

King 11 months with 4 month old Brody & Teagan King on the bed with Laura King 4 months, Rupert 1 year King 9 weeks, Rupert 1 year Our baby mutt has grown up and in less than 1 entire year he has managed to grow to the evenly round score of well -- 5 score! He's 100 POUNDS now. I would have thought, given his giant breed mixes, that he would have reached that weight and more by the time he was six or seven months, but alas, he's a smaller more petite St. Bernard/Dane/Husky mix. Must be the... Read Full Story

12 YEARS in PACKER Captivity - I am Free

My boy was 10 years old when he came home from school and announced that he was going to be like Reggie White! I about fell out of my chair. Reggie was the ONE MAN that I had prayed to God about when I was pregnant with my son and not married. I wanted my son to be giant, strong, worthy, God-fearing, and yes, I wanted him to play football. There was NO GREATER man on the field in 1985 (when I was pregnant) than the Philadelphia Eagle's (Not a Packer yet) Reggie White. In 1996 when my baby... Read Full Story

12 Years and Healing - Lest We Forget

The "MURRAH?" We didn't call it that. If you lived in Oklahoma City you called the building on 5th and Hudson the Federal Building. Some may have called it the Social Security building, but it turns out to have actually had a name - The Alfred B. Murrah Building. When the media moguls asked me about the Murrah Building a day or so after the bombing I remember asking Tom Brokaw if there had been a second bombing of another building. (Shows you that I wasn't really watching much of the news... Read Full Story

OK, this is a good "BEFORE" picture I suppose. I just took the first .5 cc of the hormone HCG that I purchased online and am following the strict orders of the doctor and the site I purchased the hormone from. I'll tell you where to get it after I have lost my first 20 pounds and feel that it is safe to do it. I would never want anyone to jump at something just because I said to do it - - here I go, flattering myself again,as if any of you would do that! The Nile Hippo is not necessarily a... 1979 Was a LONG Time Ago

Little Eric and Yeng Ting (Best Friends) WOWWWWW....when I was in high school the most you may see from a boy in terms of being a bit on the girly side was one of the linebackers trying on a cheerleader's skirt for a skit. Sure, it made the yearbook, and now some 29 years later we still give the guy grief over it, but to go as dates to the prom - - to save $10! OK. Actually, to be fair to everyone - Eric actually took a girl to the prom, and I'd show you her picture but my daughter Caity has... Read Full Story
