Judge Denny Chin
Judge Denny Chin was appointed a United States District Court judge for the Southern District of New York by President Bill Clinton in 1994. He gained notoriety in 2009 for his work on the Bernard Madoff case.
Today, President Obama nominated Judge Denny Chin for a seat on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson for a seat on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
