Scrubs

Scrubs premiered on October 2, 2001 and its now heading to its seventh and final season on October 25th. In its 6 years in television, it has received a total of 10 Emmy nominations and in 2005, the series won the Emmy for Outstanding Multi- Camera Picture Editing. Scrubs was honored with a prestigious Humanitas Prize in 2004 and beginning that same year, it received three consecutive Producers Guild Award nominations from 2004-2006.

Scrubs centers on the peculiar experiences of a medical resident John "J.D." Dorian as he proceeds on his healing career in a dreamlike hospital jampacked with unpredictable staffers and patients -- where humor and tragedy can strike at any time. Fellow residents Chris Turk, J.D.'s college buddy who is part of the more elite surgical group and the beautiful but socially awkward Elliot Reid are joining the messed up J.D. in his exciting new world. Keeping a watchful eye over these young doctors are the unpleasant chief of medicine, Dr. Bob Kelso, the disagreeable but caring Dr. Perry Cox, and Turk's wife and no-nonsense nurse, Carla Espinosa. The hospital janitor is J.D.'s nemesis who never seems to miss an opportunity to harass him.
