Jules Verne was the first satellite to dock by remote control to the International Space Station. It's a European-built "tug" satellite designed to deliver supplied and remove waste from teh International Space Station.

One has to admire the artistic yoemanship of Brendan Fraser. Like Owen Wilson, he's OK with playing the same character in every movie- no "I want a challenging project" pretentiousness here. The 22-ton European satellite Jules Verne, which delivered supplies to the International Space Station and briefly served as a bedroom for astronauts, will be briefly visible from Orange County each of the next five nights as it follows a course that will cause it to burn up in the atmosphere on Sept. 29, says spaceweather.com .

09/05/08: Jules Verne Undocks from International Space Station.
The Jules Verne Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) undocked from the International Space Station on Friday at 5:29 p.m. EDT (21:29 UT). The ATV had been docked to the aft port of the Zvezda service module for five months.
During that time the Expedition 17 crew members unloaded cargo and stowed trash and discarded items inside the ATV.
