A Los Angeles man has pleaded not guilty to stealing $25,000 in jewelry from actress Julie Newmar. The 76-year-old woman, who portrayed the first Catwoman on the 1960s "Batman" TV series, spotted the pilfered jewelry for sale on eBay and alerted authorities. Robert Ouriel pleaded not guilty to grand theft Thursday, one day after Los Angeles prosecutors charged the 48-year-old Ouriel. Efforts to reach Ouriel for comment were unsuccessful. He was arrested last month and remains free on $50,000 bail.
