Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has written a somewhat scathing, one sided autobiographical account of his life. From the excerpts I read, it appears the ultra conservative, African-American justice has spent the better part of his lifetime carrying around a boulder sized chip on his shoulder towards anyone and everyone that didn't share the judge's unbridled respect and adoration he has for himself. A judge must always be the one impartial figure in a court of law that administers their verdict solely on the facts, without any preconceived ... Read Full Story

First, a joke : A middle-class man decides to go off and join a monastery which requires an oath of silence. No speech is allowed except for two words every 5 years, to sum up ones experiences to the head monk. After the first 5 years, the monk asked him what two words described his experiences and all he said was HARD BEDS. When the next 5 year period came, the monk asked how things were and he replied BAD FOOD. After 5 more years, he walked up to the monk and said, I QUIT! The monk nodded and muttered Yes, this doesn’t surprise ... Read Full Story

* Sigh * at this Dude Folks can't leave well enough alone...there is absolutely NO concrete reason why this case is even still being considered at this level of the justice system. Hell, you know it's bad when blantantly politically biased justices like David Souter and them are calling the court case a piece of trash. Justice Clarence Thomas must still be paying folks back for those previous political positions with Pres. Ronald Regan's EEOC Department back in the day and whatnot as well as being able to rock out in that Supreme Court robe right now ( the history of this dude is ... Read Full Story

Sonia Sotomayor just penned her first opinion on a case as a Supreme Court Justice. The Court's decision was unanimous, Sotomayor laid out the facts - but Clarence Thomas had to emerge from the shadows to complain about "value judgments." The decision was unanimous, but Justice Clarence Thomas declined to join the part of Justice Sotomayor's opinion discussing why the cost of allowing immediate appeals outweighs the possibility that candid...
