DALLAS, Jun 30, 2009 / FW/ — Founded in 2005 by Justin Timberlake and his childhood friend Trace Ayala, William Rast’s DNA is grounded in the iconography of American denim heritage and biker culture, re-packaged and presented in a contemporary context.

The brand also enjoys creative direction from Johan Lindeberg and Marcella Lindeberg of the famed fashion house J.Lindeberg. Johan Lindeberg, before launching his eponymous line in 1996 was the Creative Director of Diesel.

In the United States, William Rast distributes its merchandise to better department stores and boutiques, including Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale’s.

Outside the U.S., its products are sold to better department stores and boutiques in Canada, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and the Benelux Region of Europe.
