Justine Bateman was pissed off at Twitter yesterday (Wednesday). Why? She started seeing posts in her incoming Twitter stream from people, and businesses, that she hadn’t subscribed to. She had no idea where these tweets were coming from, according to Gawker . She was seeing ads from Vanity Fair, then blogger John Gruber, just to name a few. Bateman deduced that Twitter was selling ad placement to these people and business.
