Every year in Japan, our local PWC users and owners get together at the World Heritage Site in Miyajima, the famous Itsukushima Shrine.  The group and heir families pick up trash in he surrounding coastline of this beauiful location.  This is an annual event that is in it's 5th year now. To operate a motorized watercraft in Canada, boaters must carry proof of competence. For the vast majority of boaters, this means earning a Pleasure Craft Operator Card ( pcoc ). Proof of competence must be carried on all motorized crafts, even if the motor is turned off, and even if the motor is an attached auxiliary or troller.
