Anna Chakvetadze, 8th seed, say hello and goodbye at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in her opening round match. The Russian, who felt out of the top ten, was beating by qualifier Kaia Kanepi in 3 sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Even Chakvetadze had her opportunities to dominate and take the match was not able to do so.
