Noel Hunt scored twice as Reading tightened their grip on third place in the Championship by beating Coventry. The Royals had to come from behind after Daniel Fox flighted a free-kick over the wall and into the top corner. Returning Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey made a hash of a Stephen Hunt corner under pressure from Kevin Doyle to put through his own net. Andre Bikey doubled their lead with a header from a Jimmy Kebe cross. Shane Long set up the third goal three minutes after coming off the bench, with fellow substitute Kalifa Cisse completing the scoring. To add to Wolves' misery, they lost both their wingers Michael Kightly and Matt Jarvis with hamstring injuries.
