Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani and Derek Hough stepped out at Hollywood hotspot STK on Monday night after the "Dancing with the Stars" dramatic double elimination. Of the three spotted by HTV, Derek is the only dancer that is still in the competition. When a camera person asks Maskim if it feels weird working with his ex-fiancee, "DWTS" dancer Karina Smirnoff, he points out, "I don't work with Karina."[Read full story on The Insider]

Like the celebrities, the "Dancing With the Stars" pros aren't immune to being sidelined for their health. Derek Hough has fallen ill from flu-like symptoms, and will be replaced by ousted pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy to partner Joanna Krupa Monday night."My whole body is aching like crazy. I can barely stand up.... And I'm coughing like crazy," Hough had tweeted Thursday, later adding, "At the docs for 3 hrs today ... Had a temprature [sic] of 104...  

This season, flu is the injury of choice for Dancing with the Stars.  Typically the show features a number of physical injuries, but for season 9, the flu is the greatest menace on the show.  I guess all those medical reports about this being one of the worst flu seasons ever are true.  

Worried that former Dancing with the Stars celeb Aaron Carter is crying buckets over his tiff with the IRS? Worry no more, said professional partner Karina Smirnoff, because the former child pop star is "doing great.""He's dealing with it as maturely and professionally as he can," she told Us Magazine.
